Where has the time gone??

Funny how all of a sudden time seems to be flying by and it couldn't go fast enough while Layla was still in Guatemala! I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted. Things are so crazy around here that I can't catch my breath most days. Layla has been having a tough adjustment. She is very clingy to me and whines if I am not holding her. I think the fact that I spent all that time alone with her in Guatemala set me up for this. She does not want to share me with her brothers but has started to play with them now! She has a scream that could pierce an ear drum when she gets mad at them or something doesn't go her way. The boys started preschool this last week and go on opposite days so it is nice to have a little more one on one time with all of them. The boys get mommy time when she is taking her afternoon nap. I am more than a little overwhelmed and have a hard time admitting that this is not how I pictured things to be. My husband keeps reminding me that every time we have brought a child into our home it has been a big adjustment but we get through it and look back and think it wasn't all that bad. I have had so many changes in my life this last year and although I am grateful to be able to be home with my children, I have been in the working world for many years and I miss it. The truth of the matter is that working out of the home is much easier than working (and I mean Working) at home. A friend has been working on a new blog title for me and I will have it up and running soon. I won't guarantee a post a day but I will try for one a week at least!
